I have experienced a lot of church settings where beliefs mattered most. Such groups soon made it clear who belonged and who did not based on one’s agreement or disagreement with certain unquestionable propositions. I have seen the pain of rejection dished out again and again to good people who had done nothing more than think and act differently from the norm. All most of these people were doing was critical thinking.
In the John 3:16 favorite Bible verse of so many Christians, we hear this affirmation: “For God so loved the world…” What matters most to God is people.
The following statement expresses the kind of church and people we are and intend to be:
People Matter Most
For God So Loved the World
That’s where we stand. Are you willing to stand with us?
